Pay It Forward! :-)

I was chosen by a wonderful blog friend, Robin at My Nest of Yarn and Buttons as one of her "Pay it Forward" recipients.  I will show you what I received, as soon as I explain how this works!  Please check out her blog, it's great!
OK, here's how it works... I have 365 days to send you your special something.  When you receive my gift made especially for you, you need to then "Pay it Forward" and make something special for three other people, and on it goes...

I've received my gift from Robin and now it's my turn to pay it forward to three of you!

If you want to join the fun, leave me a comment.  Just tell me about your perfect craft and/or hobby weekend and you'll be in the drawing!  (or just say HI!)

I will post the 3 winners who will receive my Pay-it-Forward gifts on on Saturday September 3rd.
Here are the adorable and wonderful gifts that Robin sent me!  A lovely card with a very sweet note inside, a handmade fabric pouch out of wonderful printed cloth, a yarn needle for when I need one, and the amazing special handmade handle on a crochet hook - gorgeous pink with fun yellow polka dots made out of Fimo clay by Robin herself!  Woo hoo!!  *T*H*A*N*K* * *Y*O*U*!*!*!* Robin!!

((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  7. What a lovely crochet hook. And what a idea.

After a rainy and cool Saturday the sun is back. And the perfect day would be to see a friend, have a chat and drink ice tea in the shadow of her trees in the afternoon.

Maybe there would still be time for a small hooky project, like a crocheted rose for my red kingston cap afterwards.

I already hooked a rainbow pot holder this morning before breakfast.

I hope your Sunday is as perfect as mine. All the best

  8. I love this idea, because I love making things for people. A perfect crafting day for me is a rainy day (something we have seen VERY little of in Texas this year). My hooks, some yarn, my kitty and puppy, and a good old show on the TV. That is my Nirvana of crafting. :)

  9. I just love this idea. If only we could spread this concept around the world, there would be so much less strife and intolerance. It's hard to hate when you're planning what gifts to send someone! Thanks for this wonderful opportunity!

Oh, my goodness Teresa, I've never heard of 'pay it forward' what a wonderful idea..well, my ideal day would be chilling in the sun with a hook and ball of yarn..but here in the UK the Autumn is drawing in, dark nights and lots of cold weather to look forward to... except this year I will have some lovely friends who I have met via the internet from all over the World, who just speaking with them brightens my day.. actually, you know what I've forgotten what I should be writing on here, oh what fun.. I do so get carried away... I absolutely adore your blog, thank you for sharing...my pay it forward would be fun to take part in with my new friends around the world.... that is a beautiful hook ...I wish you all good health...

  11. Does one need to have a blog themselves? I do not have one but would love to join in on the fun. I just started back crocheting after 30 years and can't get enough of it. That was a wonderful package you received.

  15. Hello Teresa your GD's are so beautiful. We have just had a wonderful weekend - more later on my blog. I have heard of pay it forward (PIF) but not had opportunity to join in before. You gifts are lovely. My perfect craft weekend is Saturday morning workshop at the craftbarn - making cards- time afterwards to browse among the lovely goodies there. Home for lunch- drool over purchases and then start making! Time to craft on Sunday after lunch completes the perfect weekend. Am not sure I could be included as don't live in USA but always lovely to read your blog. Anne x

  18. Fun little gifts you received. I hope I'm still in time.

My perfect craft weekend would be a long yarn and fabric crawl. I don't really need new stuff, I'm just bored with the current stash. Haha
