Find the Boys

We were invited to our youngest son's house for a BBQ last evening, we were happy to be able to see our son, DIL and youngest grandsons before we left for 9 days.  The weather was warm enough for us to sit in the backyard and visit and watch the boys play.  I looked over at the Rhododendron and what to my delight did I see?  Two little monkeys in the bushes!  Hayden has a lollipop in his mouth.  Is this the cutest photo ever?
I just adore these little guys.  They are busy, active, fun and sweet.
They have a jungle gym in their back yard and are up and down and sliding and swinging and climbing all the time.  Monkeys!
They have big wonderful Rhododendrons all across the back of their yard, this is my favorite one, beeYOUteeFUL pink!
This closeup shows a different shade, but it's pretty.
We were happily surprised to see our other son and his family stop by to pick something up so we got to hang out and visit with all our kids and grandkids!  Shawn didn't get to stay long as they had plans to go to pizza with friends, but it was fun to see them and we got hugs all around.  Travis manned the BBQ and made hamburgers for the adults and hot dogs for the boys.  Kristi is a wonderful cook and made corn on the cob, sauteed zucchini in butter - and for dessert she had zucchini cake with cream cheese frosting!  We'll be preparing the house for the house sitter over the next two days and packing.  Travis is spending Sunday night with us and will take us to the airport.  Shawn will pick us up on our return.  What good boys we have!  Thanks for visiting.. do you have fun plans for the weekend?  ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  13. The three photos of your grandsons are SO precious and totally unique!! I have never ever even heard of kids climbing a rhododendron (and I used to climb trees as a youngster). I bet their parents never have one minute of boredom with them around:)
    Have fun on your trip!
    Blessings,
