Remember

I want to take this moment to remember September 11, 2001.  To all the families who suffered the loss of their loved ones, I send you my wishes for peace.  America was hurt that day, and we won't forget, but those who endeavored to crumble us, you did not succeed.

  2. Remembering. We had just let the children out into the playground at end of afternoon school when the parents told us about what was happening. Still remember vividly the utter disbelief. For some reason it did not register with me straight away that my son was en route to South America via the US and at that point we had no idea where he was / or if involved. The father of my colleagues, was in New York and due to visit the Trade Centre. We were both fortunate that our loved ones were safe. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this awful event. Hugs Anne x

  3. I remember tha day so vividly. I was working with 3 and 4 year olds and looking at their innocent faces it was so hard to comprehend that such evil could exist. Times change but memories are there forever

  4. I can't believe that is years already! But the day is still so vivid in my mind! I see the news every day and am so thankful that I live here! We might complain...but we forget how much freedom we have. I can't imagine living in the war torn countries! I think that we forget that there are innocent lives there also. Not all of them are terrorists. But for the grace of GOD go I. Icould have just as easily bee born there.

  5. I think most everyone will always remember exactly where they were when they first heard the horrific news. My prayers are with all who lost someone dear to them.
    Blessings,

  6. An overwhelming sense of sadness is what I feel when I think of this day. I remember what I was doing, the same goes for the day JFK was assassinated. I remember where I was then too. Those sorts of things stick with us always. My heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones in such a horrible way, so many lives cut short by evil.

  7. Yes, I remember, as well, and pray for those who lost so much, and I pray for those in authority who govern here and abroad, that they may have wisdom to promote peace.
