Hello there! How is your weekend going? I worked on a newsletter for the Friends of Multnomah Falls yesterday and so today I decided I needed an antidote to desktop publishing - I needed to work with my hands and create wearable art! I want to make something that will live on after I'm gone. :-) So, I have begun my Elise shawl. I have the chart and the instructions.. and I find that going by the chart is easier for my particular brain make-up. Meredith.. are you happy now? LOL!!
So far so good.. this is wonderful yarn. Oh, I'm using my newish H hook by Celtic Swan. It's divine. It recommends an I hook, but I want it to be denser and less airy, I hope this is a good idea. The photo on the pattern makes it look so open and lacy it's almost invisible.
This is just a quick post because.. I'm boring today. :-D
And I want to get back to my crochet. I'm reading "The Goldfinch". Goodness.. what a read. Can you give me a book suggestion for my next one? OK, tata for now.. I hope you have a nice week ahead. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
