Oh my.. I'm still tired from my trip to visit my daughters family in Ohio. We went to bed on Wednesday at 10 pm. I could not sleep until midnight with all the things I was thinking about if I packed everything. We got up at 2 am and had coffee and a roll and left home at 3 am and Dayle dropped me off at the airport at 3:40. Now, my dear readers... I am *NOT* a morning person. I got through security pretty fast and was at my gate (the first one out from security!) and texted Dayle that I was all checked in and fine. I was flying United. Take off went fine and here we are above the clouds heading to Denver, my layover.
It was only an hour layover and happily the gate for the next plane was next to the one we landed at! I changed from a 737 to a smaller plane. Here we are taxiing out to take off towards Ohio. Both flights took 2.5 hours each.
There are mountains all around Denver, but a big flat area where the town and airport are.
This was a pretty plane.
My daughter Amy picked me up at the airport in the baggage claim area and helped me get my one checked bag. When we got to their house the girls heard the garage door open and they came out and were jumping and smiling and happy to see me! My beautiful little granddaughters!
My daughter Amy showed me their two guinea pigs, this one is named Pipsqueak. They are pretty funny, they make cute little noises and when Amy opens the refrigerator the piggies squeak like crazy wanting some lettuce or carrots. It's funny!
Paige hijacked my iPad Air.. but who could resist that smile?
My DIL Kristi bought three tops and sent them to the girls and they just fit them and they look so cute!
Jenna is picking up on crocheting pretty fast! She made this little scarf for one of the animals I crocheted for her!
Amy put soft little curlers in Paige's hair.. adorable!
Can you believe it snowed today? This is looking outside the living room window, it's curved and really pretty.
Amy was cleaning the guinea pig run and the girls had them in a little corral on the floor. Oreo and Pipsqueak.
Jenna made this flower and we attached it to a barrette with a button!
Jenna's first crocheted flower!
