Going Off the Grid

Hello my friends!  And goodbye, too.  This will be my last blog post for a few weeks as we're heading to our family reunion lake camping trip.  This will be 30 years we've been doing this!  We've seen children grow up, get married, and have their own children.. :-)  This was a photo I took last year of our grandsons in my and my sister's kayak.  This year they won't have to borrow and will have their own.. I'm so glad their Dad got some for them.. now my sister and I can kayak WITH them.  :-)  I hope that our other 4 grandkids can join us at camp someday and use them too.

I have posted photos of our camping trips for the last 15 years.  Feel free to click this link to browse our years of fun and beautiful scenery.  Family Camp

Facts about our lake is that it's one of the largest (9.8 sq mi) natural lake in Oregon, 427 ft. deep, one of the 3 purest lakes on the planet, has a visibility depth of 120 ft. and is purer than distilled water.  :-)

And so.. I bid you adieu for a few weeks.. I won't have internet access unless we make the 45 minute trek down to Oakridge for groceries.  So, no comments from me for a while, I will catch up when I return home.  Enjoy August!!  ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
