Autumn Colors in a Corner to Corner Crochet

Hello!  How is your "hump day" going?  That's what some people call Wednesday, I think because it's the middle of the week.. ::shrug:: -- I am definitely going to make this into a shawl.. it spoke to me and told me that's what it wants to be.  :-)  Which means I need to buy a few more skeins.  Oh.. another trip to Michaels.. however shall I manage?

I have to say kudos to whoever designed the colors in this yarn.. I love the long stripes it makes and how the colors change so it never gets boring to crochet.. coppers, grapes, golds, wine, moss, turquoises...

Perfect for this time of year.. and all winter, actually, don't you think?

At our girl's lunch the other day my sister Roberta snapped this photo of me when I was showing them my project.  If you want this free pattern, click HERE and download the PDF.

On Halloween I was heading off to swim and I suggested to my dear husband that he might bake some cookies for the boys when they came home from school.. so this is what he made.  Cowboy Cookies!  Yum!  Isn't he a super grandfather?

My sister Denise is going to the hot springs to swim with me today.  I'm looking forward to that.  I hope you're having a great week.  ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  12. Thanks for the link to the pattern, Teresa! Your shawl is so pretty! Dayle is a good grandpa and I am sure the boys appreciated the Cowboy cookies he made.. I had a great drive to Brookings today. I saw a herd of elk on the east side of 101. I forgot to tell you that I saw elk herds on both sides of 101 on the way down and I had to stop for two elk that were hanging out close to the road getting ready to cross! XX
