Oh I love that car. How nice that the boy are helping you to get it running. Family projects are fun. It was also nice that you and Dayle can volunteer together sometimes. We want to find something that Dennis and I can do together when he retires. I till have a little boy I made in pottery art class in 7th grade. I used it in the kitchen for pens, etc. Fun that Jenna enjoys it like you do.
Blessings,
BetsyBetsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807691752817225336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-36432748082535551682015-05-30T13:08:41.510-07:002015-05-30T13:08:41.510-07:00Love those gorgeous lilies, and your photos are wo...Love those gorgeous lilies, and your photos are wonderful! Wow, a car as old as me! nice and hope it all works out good for Dayle. Congrats on your granddaughter's pottery. I enjoy those type of this. I did ceramics when we lived in New Mexico. It was fun and Phil did it with me for something to do together. Now we like to work on our computers, but he's in another room. Oh well, at least he's home! I'm working through photos and got a few printed out for cards to send off soon. So many photos! Hard to keep up and post them on my blog but it's fun anyway to look through them again. It's been quite warm here as well. But tell me, do you never have any problems with the wild animals doing any damage to your plants? This has bee one crazy month, within 3 days my brother trapped 2 pesky ground hogs that had taken up residence under my back porch and deck. They were huge, male and female. I'm sure I would have had an infestation of babies before the end of next month. Now it is the raccoons. I will have to blog about the troubles, it gives me a headache just thinking about it all. Your granddaughters little blue bowl is sweet. maybe she will take a genuine interest in that craft and gift you with more pretty things. Your dress form (from previous post) is just what the doctor ordered, every woman needs one and they are great for displaying garments of all sorts. I think your shawl is looking quite spiffy on it. I love mine but my Ella is not adjustable like the one you have. Your falls is something I would never tire of looking at. Oh, and please I hope you were not taken aback when I mentioned on my blog about my being content to stay home, oh such is my hum drum quiet life. I wish I had more gumption to be on the go more like so many of my blogger friends. I guess a lot of it stems from all the years of dealing with the public in nursing.
(((HUGS))) Susanne :)Susanne Tyreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04271812578614840958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-3379828033634947332015-05-29T18:46:09.366-07:002015-05-29T18:46:09.366-07:00congrats in your granddaughter's win. I was raised in Northern Indiana and picking wild flowers was something I did all the time. I miss that. We do have wildflowers in our desert area, but they are not for picking and making pretty bouquets . . . they are all home to thousands of tiny critters. So, if you want little guests, you can pick them, but be prepared for company, LOL. If I ever make it to the falls again, I hope that you will be working; I would love to meet you:)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-2965234913973971382015-05-29T16:40:20.644-07:002015-05-29T16:40:20.644-07:00Congratulations Jenna! We used to have neighbours who had something similar in pale pink, it was fantastic. They used to hire it out for weddings. Love the place called Bridal Veil, how unusual! And it was the same color combo but had only two doors and I loved how you could roll down the windows and there wasn't the window post divider. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Had to show DH - he laughed and said they sure made them to last way back when.
My Chevy story had a sad ending though. The block developed a crack in the head and we (folks & me) didn't have the money to have it repaired. Oh well - it's good to know they're still out there and still going strong.
Just love the Tiger Lily - so pretty!LacyKnitsDailyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04485937225860459546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-11622445649416589952015-05-29T12:25:40.592-07:002015-05-29T12:25:40.592-07:00Those tiger lily's are beautiful such a vibran...Those tiger lily's are beautiful such a vibrant colour.
