Beautiful choice of flowers, Dayle! Your goat in the garden and Mocha, and Hummer are precious :) I so admire your work on the cookbooks!! We used two of my mom's old cookbooks to decide how to bake our Christmas roast beef which was so interesting because she had all sorts of notes and extra recipes stuffed in the cookbooks. xxGracie Saylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09499163425742659172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-18848242305223272752019-02-22T03:24:57.752-08:002019-02-22T03:24:57.752-08:00My most used cookbook has to be my Mary Moore Cook...My most used cookbook has to be my Mary Moore Cookbook. Mary Moore used to have a recipe column in the local newspaper many decades ago and her cookbook shares the best of those recipes. I also love my old church cookbook where all the ladies of our congregation shared their best recipes. These recipe books bring back remembrances of people and also include some great recipes. And I will definately be trying your Mac and Cheese!Marosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14675978480182883888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-50240643526934331032019-02-21T18:58:16.964-08:002019-02-21T18:58:16.964-08:00Love humming birds, don't have any here in Oz....Love humming birds, don't have any here in Oz.....I also have heaps of cookbooks but have donated some now as low carb crazy here lol so use dietdoctor web page. She had a recipe for a veggie sandwich that was amazing. Ina Gartens books are good too. I also have a collaborative cook book from the ISCU nurses fundraiser. Also I like Shirley Goodes books and have 3 of hers. How marvellous to have humming birds all winter. Would you believe my Trader Joe flowers are still going strong and tomorrow will be three weeks since I got them?

How fun to have a painter freshen up all your paint for you. We need to have our baseboard trim painted again. It’s hard to believe we’ve lived here going on 17 years. No wonder it needs touched up.
My favorite cookbook is my Betty Crocker cookbook that I got right after we were married. Although I do use others, it’s the one I pull out most often.

I can’t believe that you have hummingbirds. I haven’t seen a hummingbird since last September. We had about three more inches of snow last night which is probably part of the reason we’re not seen many birds. The weatherman said that we’re usually having highs in the low 40s by now but we haven’t gotten above freezing in weeks.

I hope you had a wonderful afternoon out with Dayle.

Blessings, BetsyTeresa Kasnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06228404538876664577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865022255438031627.post-18712578079983278642019-02-20T20:58:31.826-08:002019-02-20T20:58:31.826-08:00Nice flowers! They are so pretty on your dining table. I love the design of the cookbooks you edited. Very lovely job! Mocha looks so cute with his new hair color. Your sweet hummingbird photo is adorable--it will be summer before our's return. We have had bluebirds at the suet this week.
