After swimming I headed to Billy Bob's restaurant to see my sister - when I arrived she was there taking a photo of the CUTEST older VW bus - the kind with lots of windows. So, I had to take a photo too.
Funny story, when hubby and I first got married, we needed a 2nd car, so we went to a VW dealership to see one just like this that he was interested in. UNFORTUNATELY - in the middle of the showroom was a BRAND NEW 1970 *RED* VW Campmobile with all sparkling new interior with curtains and a table and sink and ice box.. and I fell in love with it. And that dear man bought it for me! We had so much fun with that, we used to drive to Florida and camp on the beach and swim... but he's never quite gotten over not getting that 23 window classic. :-)
Here is my sister and her husband with their newer Mustang. They also have a '69 Mach 1 in yellow. Ours sons both have vintage Mustangs too, the younger one has a 1966 GT Fastback in red, and our middle son has a 1967 GTA also in red with a white top.
Another of the cars in the cruise in.
Here is the Sandy River which I cross each time I go to town and come home. This shows the late Fall light slanting hazily across the river. I stopped in the middle of the bridge to get this shot.. eek! :-)
I brought home Popeye's Chicken for dinner, YUM.. and hubby was putting the finishing touches on the deck staining. Now we can start putting things back, but we're going to put less back and re-arrange things. Can't wait to see what it will look like!
Thanks for coming by to visit! ((hugs)) Teresa
