I'm enjoying the ripple blanket I'm working on. The pattern is from the lovely and colorful Lucy at the Attic24 blog. I'd done ripples in the past but they had a point-y look, more of a chevron. I like this better as it's more organic and gentle. There is a "Ripple-Along" going with Lucy and her friend Heather from Little Tin Bird blog. They even made a Flickr page for all of to share our ripples!!
This morning I called hubby at the hospital to see when he thought I could come and get him and he said he'd call me and let me know.. which he did around 10:30 am. I pulled in to the covered entrance area and soon a nurse brought him right up to the car. Kind of like I got a husband in a drive-through hospital. Such a deal!He is very happy to be home, and the dog and I are happy to have him back. Buddy looked for him all night. I made him a grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup lunch - his first meal for a few days. Now he's taking a nap. Poor guy.
No other big news here. Just accepting the fact that Summer was fleeting, Fall was a leaf color bust in Oregon, I miss my granddaughters, time to get Christmas gifts purchased and I want to make some crocheted toys for the kids. I saw the cutest kitty and I printed up a photo of it.
Thanks for all the concern for hubby, he feels loved.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Glad your sweet hubby is home...take good care of him!

Hurray Hubby's home! Now you get to play nurse like I did when my honey broke his elbow last winter. Hope he's a good patient for you! Your ripple looks great and such a fun pattern. Crocheting toy animals is a great idea for the little ones. Can't wait to see. Have a good day and rest up yourself.
