My friends, we have had a very busy Spring and Summer. This week there were no appointments or plans.. it's been peaceful. I'm still going swimming and we have run a few errands.. but it's been low-key. Several of our potted plants and roses are in bloom, so I thought I'd share with you. Stargazer lilies are special to me, they are exotically beautiful, and extravagantly perfumed. We have several of them ready to bloom, but this is the first one to open. :-) (My camera was being charged so these are all taken on my iPhone.)
Here is one of my new roses that I got from Heirloom roses - isn't it gorgeous? Fragrant, too.
The Bell flowers that Kristi found and planted for me. The 4th of July roses are having a wonderful second bloom.. :-)
This is one of the roses my son planted for us. The cupped petals are interesting.
This is the bud of the same rose.. very beautiful.
I have some sad news, my beloved kitty Lucy is not doing well. Hubby is taking her to the vet this afternoon while I'm swimming. I will let you know what we find out. She's been the best cat I've had in my longish life. So cute, soft and sweet. Thank you for visiting. Hugs, Teresa
Such pretty flowers but the one on the top...WOW!...GORGEOUS! I love it!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for your kitty. I hope she's ok.
It is good you are taking it easy for a while Teresa - you have been so busy. Beautiful blooms. I love making the lilies out of sugar paste.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Lucy is not well. I hope the news from the vet will be good news. Hugs Anne x
What sad news about your kitty, I really hope you have some good news. Our cat has been poorly for some time too, lots of vet visits which caused stress for him and for us as we just want him to be better. :o( I am sending positive thoughts your way, Teresa!
ReplyDeletePrayers and positive thoughts for Lucy. I'm happy to hear you're taking it easy now; you have been very busy! We're planning an easy, peaceful weekend ourselves. We've been so busy with friends, parties, home improvement projects and such...all wonderful but it gets exhausting sometimes.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Lucy your cat...I hope the Vet is able to help her today. Beautiful flowers Teresa! I especially liked the lily (love Stargazer lilies) and your new rose from Heirloom Roses (love that place)!
