Hello my friends. Just stopping in for a bit to say hello. I've been enjoying laying out my crochet blankets in the living room. I've kept them in our caravan and realized I wanted them to brighten the home.
Our family room is beyond the living room and front entryway. See Dayle on his laptop in his easy chair? Hi honey! I spread the rainbow granny stripe blanket on the love seat and have it hanging down low on the back so I can see the color from the family room.
We put my little Dept 56 Santa's Village up on the baby grand piano, the little boys are fascinated with the skating pond.
This chair goes where the tree is, so it gets put behind the love seat. :-) Oh well!
The dining room.. Kristi bought a little chalkboard easel so we know what's for dinner.. tonight is Cobb salad with all the fixin's. :-)
The house is in need of a bit more tidying and fixing up.. I need to put my red hearts and white snowflakes on the tree before it feels "done". But I'm sure all of us tweek and fuss with things all through the holidays.. do you? I'm off soon to meet my sister Denise for lunch and then off to Multnomah Falls to volunteer for the afternoon. I hope you have a wonderful day!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

What a beautiful home you have, so very cosy and warm looking. You've made a great job of your Christmas decorations. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteOh nothing makes a house feel more like a home than a crocheted blanket. I don't know what it is about them, but for me, they have to be crocheted to make it feel all homey and yummy! I love your house, it looks so warm and cozy...like getting a hug. ((hugs)) to you sweet friend. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking so warm and cosy Teresa...enjoy xx
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see all your colorful wonderful blankets. I spent to day wrapping. A tradtional dinner tonight with my high school pals. Jen and Eileen. I want to sit and knit...
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so cozy and inviting! I think I'll come for a visit! :) I'm with the boys...I love the skating pond...so cute! I, too, have a chair out of place this time of year. I always put the tree in the same place every year, and the chair resides there the 11 months that the tree does not. ;) lol
ReplyDeleteTeresa everywhere looks so lovely and ready for Christmas. I've hardly any decorations in place. The craft fair has taken up time I've had at home. It is my first and last I fear. Like you think it has cost me a lot! It is in aid of Air Ambulance Service here in UK so am doing it for that reason only. It has taken shine off other activities though. Hugs Anne x

Your house looks so beautiful Teresa and during the holidays you make it even more special. I really like your blankets in the couch it brings a new life to the room :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to bring your crocheted blankets and pillows in from the caravan to add to the coziness of your lovely home, Teresa! My Christmas decorations evolve during the holiday season :-) Today I was horrified to realize I have another box of Christmas treasures I have not even opened yet and since I am out of room to display more I may just leave the boxed closed...but like I typed, my Christmas decorating does tend to evolve over the season :-) We had a branch land on our roof today, and a section of one our trees landed in the yard! Our roof is ok. I hope you and yours are well! xx
ReplyDeleteSo lovely and cosy and festive! Your crochet blankets look lovely and it is a good idea to bring them from the caravan to enjoy in your home, Teresa! I love the little skating rink and am not surprised your grandsons are fascinated by it too.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, keep cosy!
