On the way to my volunteer shift at Multnomah Falls I made note of a few places where I wanted to get some wildflower photos. The Larkspur are looking lovely. The Lupine are in bloom.
We've had such an early and warm (even hot) Spring that the Camas Lily is almost done! All that is left is a bit of bloom at the very top of the stalk. Oh well... next year.
Can you see how lush and green Multnomah Falls is in the early Spring? Not as much water, either. My friend Shirley volunteered with me, my sister Denise is on vacation in Virginia doing some sight-seeing.When I arrived home I noticed that one of my Clematis is in bloom.. these flowers are amazing, aren't they?
I went up to Vista House today to do a review of the museum shop with 3 other people. We got to go past the manned blockade and go down to VH in the middle of all the bulldozers and graders who are working on the road. I thought I'd share with you a picture that almost no one will see, as I was one of the rare people allowed into the work site.
Tomorrow hubby and I are going to the Gresham Farmer's Market on it's opening day, to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables from our local farmers. We are on a healthy eating regimen as of yesterday. It will be fun to see what they offer. Have a GREAT weekend! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
