Hello and thanks for visiting! My readers rock and I love you all! I've been wanting to do a giveaway to thank you for visiting my blog, being my friend, the kind and thoughtful comments you leave for me and my husband Dayle. I want to send 3 of you a crocheted heart to celebrate Valentine's Day and *L*O*V*E*! The heart below is what I'll be sending to you. I will also include a skein of the bright red thread I use and a printed up instruction sheet on how to make your own crocheted Scandinavian Heart. I use them to decorate for Valentine's Day and on my Christmas tree. They make GREAT gifts and you can get 3 or 4 hearts out of a skein.
I put my Valentine tablecloth on.. let me ask you.. do you have a thing for tablecloths like I do? Do you have them for all occasions? I put my heart lights in my lantern and a Cath Kidston candle and put some of my hearts in front of it.
The rules of the giveaway are easy. Just leave a comment and that's it.. easy! I will pick 3 entries and send your gifts anywhere on the globe.. because I'm nice like that. :-) The first pick will get the heart and thread, the next two will get just the hearts. The giveaway starts now, February 3rd and ends on Feb 10th at noon PST. I will need to have a way to contact you, so if you're not a blogger, please add your email address.
Love is in the air!
Love me some heart lights!
One of my heart brooches I crafted from red felt, beads and sequins. I actually get hugs from people when I wear this!
Hugs and kisses!
Hearts and red.. :-)
If you like this heart and don't want to wait to see if you win one, I wrote out the pattern, it's available FREE on the right side column of my blog up there, see?
This is what they look like on a tree! It's amazing how they brighten it up and you can put a whole tree's worth in one old cookie tin!
Update on my "patient" - his pain is slightly less and he did very well at his physical therapy visit today. I am meeting my fellow bloggers, Taci, Gracie and Betsy tomorrow. I'll tell you all about it... next post. Thanks for visiting! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Hi Teresa,
ReplyDeleteI would love to receive one of your lovely hearts. We travelled down the west coast from BC to southern California a couple of years ago and I fell in love with Oregon. Therefore I am so glad I came across your blog. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I hope your hubby is recovering quickly - but I also hope you are all taking it easy with him! Take Care. ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Dayle's improving and his pain is lessening. As someone who seems so active, having to rest must be annoying for him. Sending best wishes that his recovery continues to be smooth and speedy :)
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your 'themed' table decorations and I think you've actually outdone yourself this time. I can feel the love way over here !! Please put me in the draw for one of your beautiful hearts. I have actually made one myself - http://dorothyoz.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/just-few-little-things.html although its not as nice as yours. But to be honest, I'd love one just because YOU made it. That red is so brilliant. Good to hear that Dayle is getting better - give him another week or so and he'll be chasing you around the kitchen again. Have a lovely day with your bloggy friends. xox

ReplyDeleteI would love to own one of your lovely hearts. Your photos to celebrate your hearts and Valentine's Day are beautiful. I do like tablecloths - have quite a few now. When I helped my Aunt to move she gave me several. I also bought two old ones with hand crocheted lace borders - the one had my initials embroidered in the centre - so lovely. Thank you for giving us the chance to own a heart. Hugs Anne x
