I am a member of Ravelry, a website where all kinds of knitters and crocheters share posts about their projects, and in particular a group on there called "We Love Lucy", who follow the blog of Lucy in the UK on her blog, Attic24. Anyhoo.. we had a "swap" recently and the organizers paired participants up, I requested someone from the UK - I love the "old Blighty"! My partner, Christina from West Sussex sent me this amazing package.. it arrived all wrapped pretty in this paper... see all the super soft yarn in citrus colors? YUM! Then the paper began to fly.. each holding another treasure!!
In a box inside the box were 2 pretty tea mugs from the Victoria & Albert Museum! Each of which held a luscious skein of Debbie Bliss "Andes" - an amazing yarn made of baby Alpaca and Mulberry Silk! OH MY it's lush! The whole collection below.. how spoiled was I??
A "Past Times" keychain with a watch and Union Jack flag designs!
Another "Past Times" jewelry item.. this amazing enamel pendant with pretty sparkly stones! I am going to wear this tonight at my granddaughter's Kindergarten graduation! :-)
Three tiny and adorable tins.. oh I can see some beads and little treasures in these!!
Both tea mugs and the Bliss yarn..And some yummy smelling perfume, (which I have on now), Bath Seeds, Sachet and soap! OH wow!
The handmade item is this amazing Cowl that Christina made, I'm afraid I photographed it inside out, but I had to try it on and it's so cozy and gorgeous, my favorite color!!
A really pretty card, isn't it lovely? Wish such a nice note inside.. awww
Some tea.. I **LOVE** Earl Grey! Some chocolate that sounds divine.. and cocoa! Can't wait to try it!
More shots of the sheen of the Alpaca and Silk..
Can't you just feel how soft and such a pretty shine!
One last photo of the necklace and keychain watch. Aren't they divine? I love all of it totally!!
Thank you so much, Christina, you are an absolute darling and SO generous! What fun this was!
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
