Hello my friends.. I hope you had a good weekend. We had a very restful one. I got the first blue bootie completed and just need to do a second. These will go to my son's work friend whose wife just had their first child, a boy. :-) This is the man who took my son fishing for salmon.
We've had the joy of several sunny days.. it's hard to take photos of my dining room when the sun is blazing through the windows, but yesterday afternoon I noticed that the sun was low in the sky and was slanting through the kitchen window which gave me a short "window" of time to get shots that weren't backlighted. I had just put on a fresh white tablecloth on which to put the white orchid that Kristi got for us.
I'm still being drawn to white and glass in this still new month of the year.
Sometimes pure white is uplifting, don't you think?
I hope we can get this orchid to bloom again.. my little tiny orchid in the garden window is full of a new spike of buds! My third bloom on it!
I also brought in my little collection of milk glass hobnail vases.
My purple sheep Periwinkle insisted on being in the photo shoot. I removed her Christmas wreath around her neck and put on her regular bell on a purple twine for the rest of the year.
I had to show you the image of Multnomah Falls that I found on Facebook - it's by local photographer David Leahy - click on his name to see more of his amazing work.
I am heading off soon to my DAR meeting then off to swim. Life is back to it's busy self. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I love a sunny home and baby booties:)

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! That orchid is stunning Teresa. I have an orchid that Dennis' boss sent me after my surgery last summer. I can't seem to get it to bloom again but at least the leaves are still green. :-). Your booties are so cute. I know that they will be appreciated when you give them to the baby. I saw that picture of the falls on FB. It's stunning. Have a lovely day my friend.
