Are you up for some flower photos? Due to lack of comments on my fishing and sailing posts I get the feeling my readers aren't that interested in those things. Which brings me to the question - what draws you to my blog? Feel free to share in the comment section.
This is a twig table made by a craftsman friend of mine years ago. I had it in our guest room with a log bed. Someday I am going to re-do that room and put this table back in there. My nephew found it up in the barn loft and brought it down for me.
Have a wonderful weekend. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
lovely bunting and beautiful flowers...having a cuppa and a catch up! ;)
ReplyDeleteI greatly enjoy all your posts....read them regularly....and since I don't have anything extraordinary to say, don't usually comment. I think you write well, keep a lovely, inviting home and enjoyed all the pictures of your family visiting and time at the water. I'll do better in the future!!
ReplyDeleteI just read your sailing post (always behind with things these days). I thought your life as a sailor is inspirational. I love visiting your blog because I feel comfortable in your company, whatever you write. Your deck/garden are so full of colour, it makes me happy and I'd love to sit with you and chat. It is rarely warm enough to sit in the garden here but maybe it is just me feeling the cold. Have a lovely weekend xx
ReplyDeleteSo many flowers and each one beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe're due for some hot weather. Hoping it doesn't get into the 90's. Good time to stay near the water with a cold drink in hand.
Have a great weekend!
I love all of your posts, but don't see some due to time constraints on my part. Sometimes I just don't get time to comment on anything.
ReplyDeleteYou draw me to your blog, your wonderful outlook on life, your farm, your creative life, your travels, your stories including all your stories about sailing. I Think there are some post s I write that draw people and others that people are just to busy to comment on. And so it goes with blogging.
ReplyDeleteYour boating and sailing posts are very interesting. Would love to hear more about your adventures. Just not much time to comment right now. But I do always look forward to M/W/F and check several times to see if you have posted yet. Your cheerfulness, artistic talents and love of color/nature always provide a welcome lift to life! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, I enjoy all variety of posts. I think a lot of folks are busy during the summer. It's my intention to visit all of my blogging friends no matter the subject. I for one enjoyed your sailing adventure very much. And your garden is looking lovely. The bunting is a pretty addition to your garden.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so down to earth, you take beautiful photographs and you write very well. Love reading your blog and sharing in your daily life!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, especially at this time of the year I have noticed that there are fewer comments on my posts and suspect that this is just an extra busy time for folks. Thinking back on when I first came across your blog, I was so drawn by your beautiful artistry in photography, fiber, pottery, sketching, painting, and beading. Your love of water ways, boats, the ocean, family, friends, flowers, country, chickens, pets and pens often delight me. Thank you for many of your posts that are my "favorites!" You and your friendship are dear to me. ((HUGS)) Gracie PS: I admire the twig table, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm just nosey and love peeking into other people's lives, LOL :) Love the twig table and I love all your stories including flowers, boats and where you live. I travelled a bit in my 20's but not since I've been married so I love 'visiting' the beautiful places where my blog friends live. xx Susan
ReplyDeleteI've not commented lately because I've been so busy watching the two youngest grandkids (their daycare has been closed all week due to an urgent family medical need) and they plum wore me out each day lol. They're ages 3 years and 1 year... whew! And summer is naturally a busy time for me because I'm gardening at both the kids' homes, so that wears me out, too, and causes me to be too tired when I get home to get online. But I do go back several posts to see what I've missed. I truly LOVE coming to your blog and reading all about your life. I especially enjoy your gardens and deck and everything about your beautiful home... but hubby and I really LOVE fishing, so I'll be reading that post in a few minutes... and I'll also go back and see your sailing post – it looks so interesting! I also enjoy when you post about other places around your area... sucha beautiful state! I say that a person should blog about whatever their lil heart desires... if you don't get a lot of comments, well, it's nothing to worry about. I barely get 6 comments at a time lol – so when you see the number 12, that doubled the 6 because it's just me replying under each comment that was made. I only blog for me... to keep a kind of online life story. If someone reads, okay... if not, that's okay as well. Hugs and blessings to you, Teresa! ♥
ReplyDeleteOh, it's looking beautiful out there. I love all of your posts, I really do, it's nice to see another corner of the world and catch up with a friend and see what you've been up to. I like to hear about the falls and the history and see the countryside around you as well, it's absolutely breathtaking. But really, anything. I do like sailing and fishing, and my son's a fisherman as well, so I always show him what your family have been catching and he is envious of the amazing lakes you have. Sometimes I'm busy for a few days and miss posts, but I shall definitely go back and see what you caught last time out! Hope you have a good weekend. I hear the weather is nice and cool in your area at the moment, which is nice. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteI loved your sailing post....well actually love all your posts and you my dear friend are my only commentor xoxo

I love all of your posts and really enjoyed reading about your sailing adventures. Thank you for sharing x
ReplyDeleteI love all you posts and feel comfortable when I visit. I like to visit blogs around the world and gain an insight into places I have never visited before.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers. I like the twig table! I've not read your other post yet but I do like your blog Teresa. I remember reading one a few years ago about you sailing. Not gone too far away this year. Next month a couple days at the coast. I don't get as many comments as you do but still blog. Lately many anonymous comments that I delete after I read them. Most are nice though. Some are spam. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa. I'm sure I commented on your fishing post, just had a very, very busy week and was going to come back to your sailing one, which fascinates me!I am a wuss - especially near deep water ( had a bit of a scare few years ago. Swam from a friend's boat to shore, further than I thought. I obviously made it but it scared me.
ReplyDeleteI love your posts, I wish I had the comments you get regularly. Don't be disheartened. Hugs Anne X
Happy Saturday Teresa. I forgot to take my laptop to the lake yesterday so I couldn't comment. We had to make a trip into town today so I've picked the laptop up and here I am! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou know I love each every one of your posts. I don't think I even have to tell you that. Your life has been so full and interesting with fun travels, crafts, writing, etc., and continues to be so.
I think it's just that time of year. I have a few less comments too. Wishing you and Dayle a wonderful, relaxing time out on your beautiful deck with the bunting fluttering in the breeze.
Blessings,
Betsy
Dear Teresa,
ReplyDeleteI just read your post from Nov. 2016 regarding the election of Trump. It is now 3.5 years later and things are far worse than we could ever have imagined. Our only hope is that he be defeated in 2020. We must do whatever we can to encourage all to vote against his madness. We shall see.
Sincerely, KitsyKeelSmith
I read all your posts but only comment when i have something to say.
ReplyDeleteOh Teresa! I loved your post. I think we are all just a bit busy, as My comments are down too. It is nice to hear how brave you were! oh my I could NEVER do that!!!! And that twig table is so cool. People's creativity is amazing! Your flowers are also gang busters!
ReplyDeleteHola querida Teresa, todas tus publicaciones me encantan, aunque no comente pero siempre estoy visitandote para saber como ha sido tu semana. Saludos desde Costa Rica
ReplyDeleteTranslated for you:
DeleteHello dear Teresa, I love all your posts, although I do not comment but I am always visiting you to know how your week has been. Greetings from Costa Rica
I love flowers, and yours are beautiful! Interesting twig table.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in a lot of things - flowers, vegetable gardening, birds, bees, butterflies, wild animals, pets, reading a wide variety of books, and food - I love to eat!
Have a wonderful day!
When schools out, there seems to be a pull towards traveling, visiting, and doing all things "with the kids". Plus most people are taking advantage of the dry weather by gardening and taking care of what needs attention now before rain & school starting up again. I know in our area of Oregon City, everyone has decided to power washing everything that doesn't move. We have the cleanest street going . . . LOL
ReplyDeletePlus, there will always be the few that read your blog but decide not to comment. Don't know why, I thought everyone would enjoy pretty pics of the water/ocean.
Hi to Dayle, hope he's well! Hope your week is filled with fun things.
Love you blog. I feel that you are inviting everyone in for a lovely cuppa and chat. It is very interesting to read about the history of your area, your volunteer work and the lovely photos. I think you are one lucky lady to have your family close by, and helpful - helping you and your man stay on your beautiful property....its how it should be. I bet you miss your DIL but I also bet you are proud of them for getting settled in their own place. Just enjoy the blogging - because you create from the heart - there is always something interesting....and well - its just nice to chat with you....hugs
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all your posts Teresa...don't always have time to comment...or sometimes I comment days later.
ReplyDeleteI love your stories about the family ..
ReplyDeleteThe trips you take with Dayle and your wonderful crocheting and pictures of your home!
Actually I love your posts !
