Yesterday was a birthday celebration for our 2 youngest grandsons. This is Caleb, now 3 doesn't he look like an angel there, with his hands folded, waiting patiently for us to sing Happy Birthday? :-) Our DIL, Kristi, made a plate of cupcakes for us all. Our son, Travis made a big pot of home made macaroni and cheese with peas for us, our other son Shawn and his family was there too.
Hayden turns 4 tomorrow.. they are the same age for 4 days a year.
Cupcakes for all.. yayyyyy!
Caleb's "cute face" -- he loved the jaguar spotted VW bug we brought for him. Grandpa loves his lil boys. Hayden's VW is zebra striped!
Today Travis took his boys to a gym with his best friend Dan and his 2 little ones. Afterwards they came to visit here. Caleb squeezed into the block wagon.. :-)
Then he climbed up on my great grandmother's high chair to see what was in the basket. It is my crocheted Easter eggs that I moved to safety from the table before the boys arrival. Teehee :-) More "cute face". LOL!
My little darling brought a book from the toy box and climbed up on my lap so I could read to him. Awwww.
If you're wondering where Hayden is, he and grandpa were upstairs playing with this huge set of little houses I got for the grandkids. He just loves them!
Do you remember "Green Bean" my DIL's iguana? He's growing.. isn't he just.. reptilian? LOL! Have a super duper week and thanks for visiting!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
How fun... there's nothing like a birthday cupcake to bring out the kid in all of us! What a wonderful way to spend a day.

Thanks for sharing the boys' b'day celebration with us, Teresa! I enjoyed it and am sitting here smiling still...even after admiring Green Bean! (: <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful start to my day, I love Little Boys and Birthdays, curly hair and cute faces, cup cakes, VWs and 'Green Beans' (How handsome is that 'Green Bean'! I also love in this busy, busy we world we are in a little boy wants to get on Grandma's lap and share a book. It is nice that they play separately too so you and Grandpa can 'Tag Team'. I also think you are a very wise woman, moving the basket before they arrived, lol, but they still climb to explore!
ReplyDeleteDon't know whats happening but some days I have trouble trying to leave you a comment. This is my second try for today. Sounds like you had a lovely family weekend - happy birthday from across the globe to the birthday people. That iguana is awesome !! It looks huge - is it friendly and can it be handled? I'm intrigued.
ReplyDeleteCuties:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Aimee

ReplyDeleteThat iguana is beautiful, I'd love one!
Love the iguana and of course the grandsons, beautiful pics as always.
ReplyDeleteAww, happy birthday to the boys!! Wow, that iguana looks huge! I'm not sure I would be entirely comfortable with him running around, lol ;-) xxxx
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to the boys April birthdays like mine and thankyou for the Happy Birthday wishes you left on my blog Teresa. Your grandsons are so cute. It was lovely to see mine last Sunday as it had been four weeks since I'd last seen them.
ReplyDeleteLike you I moved some things out of the way - you know what I mean :-) Delicious cupcakes - not sure about the Iguana - great from a distance I think for me anyway. Anne x
PS I think you had an anniversary recently- congratulations and hope you enjoyed it. Anne x
ReplyDeleteThe boys are very cute. Looks like everyone had a great time.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute. I'd kill for Caleb's curls!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Those boys are adorable! I miss little boys. Looks like they had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to them! It looks like you all had a great time together. I particularly like the picture of your one grandson crawling up for story time :) After all of those cute family pictures, Green Bean took me by surprise! I will admit though, he's a handsome looking lizard. There's something very ancient and dinosaur-ish about those animals! Too cool.

What sweet little boys! I just love that little Caleb's curly hair. I know I have said that many times before, but I'm a sucker for curly hair on boys. Wish I had a couple of those cupcakes this afternoon for Three O'Clock Coffee! They look yummy. Green Bean makes an interesting picture to look at. He's really beautiful in a weird, scary, lizardy way! Pretty green color and gold eyes. That name cracks me up. Hee-hee.
