For those of you who celebrate Mother's Day today - have a GREAT ONE! Even for those of you who celebrate on a different day - you can give a kind thought to your mother today just for extra measure. I am remembering my Mom today - we lost her 2 years ago now. Below is our little family, that's me in the middle. My older sister and brother are twins.
And here is a family photo from my Mom's 70th birthday - all of our family is here except my sister Roberta's 2 sons who did not attend.
Didn't my Mom look good at 70? :-) We've sure been busy.. yesterday we attended our daughter-in-law Beth's graduation from Washington State University with a degree in Accounting. Here is our son Shawn, Beth, Michael, Gabriel, Dayle and I.
Our daughter called from Ohio to visit with us and I got to talk to my granddaughter. Have a great day and we're off to our next social engagement! :-) ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
What a nice tribute to your mom. Congrats on having a new college grad/accountant in the family. Accounting is supposed to be a good field to be in right now. Your macaroni sald looks sooooo good. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteGosh I love all of the photographs, but especially the first. Congratulations to Beth, that is amazing. Happy Mothers day. (((Hugs)))

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your family with us! My mom died in 2007 at the age of 90. She was a very creative, busy person who worked as a nurse in Boston prior to marriage. She made many of our clothes, was a good cook, knit and crocheted a lot, could play the piano, and painted some lovely botanical paintings. She served in the community and at church and loved to play word and card games. I am grateful she helped give me life. I hope you made more happy memories celebrating today, Teresa! <3
