When I began blogging 2 years ago I had no idea how many friends would come into my life - and to me, it's the jackpot of it all. Most of the friends I'll never get to see in "real life" -- but a few of them actually live close enough to meet for lunch occasionally. Which is what we did yesterday! Gracie is on the right, she writes the blog called One Saylor's Log and Betsy is on the left, she writes The Simple Life of a Queen. We met at the Claim Jumper and took up residence in a comfy booth where we chatted away for 3 hours! Betsy is a new grandmother of a darling little girl, she had lots of photos to show us on her iPhone. It's so fun to chat with friends who understand the whole blogging thing.
Gracie made the pumpkin above using my pattern, but she kept going and made this big beautiful squishy pumpkin.. isn't it neat? Gracie also gifted Betsy and I with one of her hand braided friendship bracelets! She always has a little gift when we meet, she's so thoughtful and generous. The receptionist got called to service as a photographer and took this photo for us.
One of my blog friends announced the arrival of her new adopted baby girl, I'm so happy for her. She's Alicia from Posie Gets Cozy. So far she's gotten 2500 comments from her readers, welcoming the new baby! I'm so excited for her and her husband, Andy!
Today we're getting packed up again to head to the beach for Dayle's 65th birthday. We have a space right on the ocean for our 30 foot trailer. Buddy will be with us. I will share some photos with you soon. Thanks for visiting and thanks for the sweet comments. Dayle and I enjoy you all so much! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Thank you for another wonderful visit, Teresa(: I am still smiling remembering. I hope your time at the beach is joyful! Happy birthday in advance, Dayle!! [Have fun chasing the waves, Buddy!!!] xxx from Gracie

Meeting with blog friends is such a wonderful thing. I've had the opportunity to meet with a couple -- one in the States and one who had traveled from Switzerland to Dubai (and is now living there). It's like meeting up with old, treasures friends. So fun! Happy birthday to Dayle! Have a great celebration. So glad to hear that Alicia and Andy finally got their little one. Best wishes, Tammy
