One of the best parts of blogging has been making such wonderful new friends so far away and so near to me! I want to give back to my friends, so I am giving away a pair of Swarovski crystal shamrock earrings - topped with an Oregon Sunstone, all made in solid sterling silver. The Sunstone is a small clear stone with a hint of yellow. This stone comes from my state here in Oregon. I will also give away a second gift, a stitch marker made with the same stones on a sterling french wire that opens. These are handmade with love by me.
Giveway RULES -- To win you just need to -- 1. Leave a comment on this post. 2. You will get a 2nd entry if you are a Follower of this blog. (Please tell me in your comment. 3. You will get a 3rd entry if you have my blog listed on your blog list. (Please mention this in your comment.) I will send these gifts anywhere in the world. You don't have to be a blogger to win these - just leave a comment. The giveaway will stay open until March 10th at noon. That will give me time to send this to you and hopefully you can wear or use them before St. Patrick's Day! I have McAlister blood in me - so my ancestors lived in Scotland or Northern Ireland. I love St. Patricks Day!
You can wear these all year, not just this time of year. :-) See the yellow "sun" in the Oregon Sunstone?
These are the ones I made for myself - so we'll be wearing the same jewelry!
The 2nd prize will be this sterling silver stitch marker. :-)
Good luck!!
The tulips my honey got for me!
Love me some tulips.
My sweetheart asked me if I'd like to go to Tad's for dinner.. ummm.. YES!
We got a table by the window in the old part of the restaurant - where all the locals go. :-)
The Sandy River was high and fast, there were several boat loads of fishermen floating by.
We even saw one guy pulling a big salmon out of the water!
This guy is probably a fishing guide, and he's working really hard to row upstream in the fast moving water.
Dinner arrived and the camera was put aside.. lol.. crispy fried chicken, baked potato, green beans with ham and onion -- and a big fluffy dumpling floating in savory chicken gravy!
(The dumpling was Dayle's - I just used it for the photo.. hehe)
And so -- our Sunday is upon us - it's a gorgeous sunny day. Dayle just put some BBQ ribs in the oven. What a guy! Good luck on the giveaway! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Wow - what a fab giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAs you already know, I am one of you followers, and your blog is in my blog roll on my blog page!
Looks like you had a scrummy meal, we just stayed at home today and got on with some chores. Then watched one of our favourite tv programmes, Top Gear - Im not sure if you get this show in the US.
My daughter is just putting the finishing touches to a batch of chocolate cupcakes, so I had better go and offer my support, i.e. try one - quality assurance you know ;)

ReplyDeleteHi Teresa
ReplyDeleteI live far away, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but I visit your blog every day and I am sad if there is no new post (fortunately you write regulary :)) If I ever start my own blog, that would be because of you (and Lucy from Attic24, her blog was firs step to yours). I realy LOVE the way you write about your life, ordinary thinks become very special when you describe it. And yes, you made me love my chrocheted tablecloths again :) I found them too old-fashioned and put in boxes few years ago, so it is time to bring them to life (on table) again...
I whish you all the best, and happy early spring
Sabina
