I spread a new tablecloth on the table and set out my little collection of sheep and put in a pair of candles - oops I need to trim the wicks.
My little flock.. the big white one with a grey face is a gift from my grandsons they found at a craft show. The two little ones are vintage style. The purple one and little mottled grey one are from a local craftswomen. The legs on hers are horseshoe nails! Her shop is on Etsy - LionGateFarm.
My little vintage Devon Violet perfume bottle is ready for the first Lilies of the Valley flowers to bloom.
Dayle informed me that a little patch of Daffodils were in bloom in front of the farmhouse on the edge of the road that goes in front of the house.. so I asked him if he'd go out, in the rain, to get a photo for my blog post I am writing..:-) so he did!
Yay.. our first to bloom!
How cute, I love your table decorations. No jonquil blooms in my yard yet, but the amyrlls and jonquils are springing up...it's worrying me we will get a freeze!
ReplyDeleteWe had a beautiful day Saturday but it's raining cats and dogs today. I made it home safely from my jaunt to Idaho and I enjoyed the drive even in the rain. I stopped in at Pier 1 just to look around and found the cutest little alpaca. It would look great with the purple sheep you girls gave me, I may just have to go back and buy it! Your spring table looks lovely and happy. I'm SO ready for spring this year. :-)

My daffodils are blooming and new ones opened then found a few bugs on them that are eating them. Sigh! I did get photos yesterday while it was nice outdoors. Rain has fallen most of the day. Tulip field opens hopefully end of month if days are warm. I need to pull out a nice tablecloth soon. You have nice ones. Happy week.
ReplyDeleteYour daffodils are beautiful. I live in Va. and they are calling for 6 - 10 inches of snow. It started snowing about an ago. The cherry blossom trees have just started to bloom and I hope the snow doesn't damage the blosssoms.
ReplyDeleteYour sheep are such fun Teresa. Great to see that your first daffs are out! x
ReplyDeleteLily of the valley - so beautiful and the scent is divine. They will sit nicely on your cheerful spring table. x
ReplyDeleteLovely little sheep, Teresa. And wonderful to see your daffodils are flowering...how kind of Dayle to venture out in the rain to take the pictures! Have a happy week.

Aren't your sheep adorable! I hope that you are enjoying spring!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers and your Dayle are very sweet. We are having lots of sunshine. Much needed this time of year. It should melt our 4 inches of snow. Fireman needs the sun badly this time of year!
ReplyDeleteOur daffodils have buds but aren't blooming yet; we've not had much sun lately, that's for sure, so their cheery yellow flowers will be most welcome. Happy almost Spring to you!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better Teresa. I love your sheep collection. I have three just like your little white on. It was from Germany from what I remember. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteNo spring here! Temps in the teens tonight. Too cold! I love those fuzzy sheep.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty tablecloth Teresa. I love how you change your decorations for each occasion or season. While you're looking forward to Spring, its starting to get a bit chilly here :( Hope we're not in for a really cold winter. Xox
ReplyDeleteRain Rain Go Away! Checked my weather app and there is a chance of a clear day on Thursday and possibly Sunday and Monday as well.
ReplyDeleteMy spring flowers are starting up and loving all the rain. Thanks for reminding me to pay Lions Gate on etsy another visit. Her sheep are so fun with those square nails.
A beautiful spring table setting. Sheep are a favorite thing for me.I enjoyed seeing yours.Blessings
ReplyDeleteOh my, I absolutely love your lambs! The bulbs are just starting to pop up here in Chicago in the yards of townhouses across the street from me, but the snow has completely covered them up. This is my first spring here, so I am not sure what any of the bulbs are yet but I hope some are hyacinth!
ReplyDeleteLovely decorations and I adore daffodils. Hugs Anne x
