This is Hayden's house.
I crocheted another light bulb ornament. I'd made a whole rainbow of them last year and then proceeded to give them all away as gifts. So, I want to make some other colors for my own tree this year.
I bought some colorful baby alpaca yarn a while back and decided to roll the skein into a ball.. at the very beginning of the rolling it turned into spaghetti, poor Dayle worked on undoing, then I did, then he did.. and we finally got it rolled up. Sheesh. I am thinking of making some leg warmers. My ankles always get cold in the winter. More on that later.
A few of my favorite ornaments.. this is an Airstream trailer ready for Christmas.
This adorable little monster flew across the country to me, I adore it. Thank you.
I also like this glass cloche with a penguin and a couple of trees in sparkly snow.
A flag of England as a nod to my UK blog friends.
We went to see the new Star Wars, The Last Jedi, on Saturday! Kristi got us tickets at the Cinetopia in Vancouver, it has reclining seats which are pretty comfortable. I *LOVED* this movie from beginning to end. I got teary eyed a few times. I won't go into details, but it was a fabulous movie full of humor, adventure, excitement, tenderness and enlightenment. Dayle and I attended the very first Star Wars movie on it's first showing in Oregon in May 1977. Our youngest was just a year old, we had to get a babysitter to go. I will never forget how amazing that movie was. This one completes a circle for me.
Dayle saw the back surgeon a week ago and they got a cancellation for surgery for this Thursday so they asked Dayle if he wanted to take it and he did. SO.. please send your good thoughts and prayers his way that this goes smoothly and he will recover fast to much less pain. I will be there with him and we will all take good care of him post op.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
